Federal University of Lafia Student Dies in Keke Napep Accident

The Federal University of Lafia community has been thrown into mourning following the death of a 100-level student, Ijeoma Blessing Nweke, who was involved in a tragic accident near the institution’s campus.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at about 11:30 a.m., when the tricycle (Keke Napep) she was in was involved in an accident close to the university.
Ijeoma was initially rushed to the Federal University Lafia Clinic for urgent medical attention before being referred to the National Hospital, Abuja, for advanced treatment.
Sadly, despite the efforts of medical personnel, she passed away while receiving care at the National Hospital.
Her untimely death has left students, staff, and the entire university community in deep grief, as tributes continue to pour in for the young undergraduate.
