The accident involved Engr. Prof. Salisu Muhammad Lawan, the Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology, and Engr. Aliyu Muhammad, a respected lecturer from the **Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department. The staff members were reportedly involved in the accident while traveling to the University's permanent site.
