Focus on your academic pursuit in ABU, DVC advises Sokoto students

Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration, Ahmadu Bello University, Prof Bello Sabo, has advised Sokoto State students studying in the university to focus on their academic pursuit and be law-abiding.

Prof Sabo gave the advice when he received executive members of the Sokoto State Students Association (SOSSA) who paid him a courtesy call in his office.

Sabo, a long time patron of the association, also urged them to be of good conduct throughout their stay in ABU.

He said their primary concern was their academic pursuit in order attain the needed academic feat.

He also reminded them that they were ambassadors of their state, hence the need for them to make their state proud.

Earlier in their remarks, the SOSSA executives congratulated Prof Sabo on his recent appointment as Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Administration.

They assured him of their commitment to being law-abiding throughout their stay in the university.

According to them, they were in the university to excel and that they would do everything possible to represent their state well.

They prayed to God to guide the new Deputy Vice-Chancellor and wished him a successful tenure.
