Former ABU VC Congratulates New Vice-Chancellor, Offers Advice

Former Vice-Chancellor of Ahmadu Bello University, Prof. Abdullahi Mustapha, has congratulated the institution's new Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Adamu Ahmed, on his assumption of office.

Prof. Mustapha, who is Chairman of the Committee for the Implementation of Proposed Trust University of Nigeria, advised the new VC to remain focused, straightforward, and inclusive in his leadership.

Prof. Mustapha emphasized the need for leadership, development, and progress at ABU, expressing confidence that Prof. Ahmed's leadership would take the institution to greater heights. He also discussed the importance of Phase II of the University, a project aimed at decongesting the existing campus.

In response, Prof. Ahmed thanked Prof. Mustapha and the committee for their visit and advice, assuring them that his administration would prioritize the development of the University and support the establishment of Trust University of Nigeria to boost education in the region.
