Former UNIMAID SUG President Appeals for Reconsideration of Late Registration Fee
Maiduguri, Nigeria - Comr. Munir Hassan Nababa, the immediate past President of the Students Union Government (SUG) of the University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID), has made a passionate plea to the university management to reconsider the additional N10,000 late registration fee.

In a statement signed by Ibrahim Kaigama, Nababa expressed concern over the financial burden the late registration fee poses on students and their families, many of whom are already struggling to make ends meet. He emphasized that the extra fee is an additional strain on limited resources, and many students simply cannot afford to pay it.

Nababa has been engaging with the university management, appealing to their sense of fairness and compassion, and urging them to pardon the extra fee for the benefit of the entire student body. He highlighted the current hardship faced by the entire nation, and the need for the university to show empathy and understanding.
