FUD SUG Announces Updates on NELFund Student Loan Disbursement
Returning students who have completed registration and received loan approval will have their registration fees for the next session paid by the university.
The Student Union Government (SUG) of the Federal University Dutse (FUD) has provided important updates regarding the disbursement of the NELFund student loan for the 2024 academic year.
According to the SUG, final-year students who have paid their registration fees and are approved for the loan will be refunded by the university. For students with pending registration fees, the university will cover these fees directly once loan approval is confirmed. Returning students who have completed registration and received loan approval will have their registration fees for the next session paid by the university.
Additionally, starting in September, all approved students will receive a monthly upkeep allowance of N20,000. For students with the "Record Not Found" status, the university is actively working to resolve the issue.
The SUG urges students to remain patient and assures them that further details, particularly regarding refunds for final-year students, will be communicated soon.
For more inquiries, students are encouraged to contact the SUG representatives.
