FUE Pankshin Vice Chancellor, Prof. Noel Wannang, Celebrates Academic Staff at NSUK’s 8th Combined Convocation

The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Education Pankshin Prof. Noel Nen'man Ndalbeh Wannang has congratulated the Vice Chancellor of Nasarawa State University Keffi Prof. Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, the Council, Senate, Staff and Students on the Institutions 8th combined Convocation ceremony and 25th Anniversary celebration.

In a goodwill message, Prof. Noel N.N. Wannang congratulated the graduants particularly lecturers from the Federal University of Education Pankshin (FUEP) who were among the graduates convocated for the academic achievement.

This highlights the rarity and significance of a Vice Chancellor celebrating his own academic staff for earning degrees praising them as lifelong learners.

Prof. Wannang's act sends a powerful message that teachers must continue learning, and it models inter-University respect. 

He noted that such recognition is a quiet but revolutionary gesture in Nigeria’s academic landscape.

The Nasarawa State University Keffi ( NSUK) conferred degrees on a total of 32,884 graduants for the three (3) sets of 2022/2023, 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic sessions comprising 1,677 Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D), 8,169 Masters, 2,809 Postgraduate Diploma's, 20, 229 first degree and Honourary graduants ( honoris causa).

The Convocation featured speech presentations from the Executive Governor of Nasarawa State, Gov. Abdullahi Sule, the Vice Chancellor NSUK Prof Sa'adatu Hassan Liman among others.
