FUEZ Vice-Chancellor Inspects CBT Centres, Expresses Satisfaction With Conduct Of First Semester Examinations

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Education, Zaria, Prof. Yahaya Isa Bunkure, on Wednesday inspected the conduct of the first semester examinations for undergraduate students of the University for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The Vice-Chancellor visited the University's Computer-Based Test (CBT) Centres, where he monitored the examination process and assessed the facilities put in place to ensure a smooth and hitch-free exercise.

Prof. Bunkure expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the examinations at the Amb. Baba Jidda Ahmad, OFR CBT Centre and the Dr. Abbas Tajudeen CBT Centre, noting that the environment was conducive and that students were taking their examinations conveniently.

The Vice-Chancellor interacted with students at the various centres, making inquiries about the conduct of the examinations and their overall experience.

He commended the staff involved in the conduct of the examinations for their commitment and professionalism, urging them to sustain the standard throughout the examination period.

The Vice-Chancellor also inspected the power houses serving the CBT Centres to ascertain the adequacy and reliability of power supply during the examinations, stressing the importance of uninterrupted electricity in ensuring the successful conduct of computer-based examinations.

With the Vice-Chancellor during the inspection were Mal. Usman Yusuf Ladan, Deputy Director of Information and Protocol; Mal. Abubakar Sani Adda'u, Personal Assistant to the Vice-Chancellor; Mal. Sani Ibrahim Wambai, Secretary/Chief of Staff to the Vice-Chancellor; and Engr. Abdullahi Maiwada, Ag. Director of Procurement.
