FUL Celebrates as Prof. Ode Ogbu is Appointed Provost of College of Education, Oju

The Federal University Lokoja (FUL) is celebrating the appointment of one of its distinguished academics, Professor Ode Borniface Ogbu, as the new Provost of the College of Education, Oju, Benue State.

FUL's Vice-Chancellor, Professor Olayemi Akinwumi, announced the news to the University Senate earlier today, highlighting the development as a significant reflection of FUL's burgeoning reputation. Professor Akinwumi emphasized that the appointment underscores the University’s commitment to nurturing and producing outstanding academics and administrative professionals.

Describing the appointment as a testament to FUL’s "steady rise in academic and leadership excellence," the Vice-Chancellor noted that the University continues to play a vital role in strengthening educational institutions across Nigeria through the quality of its human capital.

Professor Akinwumi conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to Professor Ogbu, who hails from the Department of Educational Foundations, Faculty of Education. He expressed utmost confidence that Professor Ogbu’s extensive experience, scholarship, and administrative competence will enable him to make a lasting, positive impact in his new leadership role at the College of Education, Oju.
