The Federal University Lokoja (FUL) has urged members of the University community and the general public to verify all information relating to the institution before taking any action, as part of efforts to combat online scams and misinformation.

The University advised stakeholders to confirm the authenticity of publications, announcements, and other official communications through its designated offices before relying on or acting on such information.

According to the University, enquiries, clarification, and verification can be made through the Office of the Registrar or the Directorate of Strategic Communication and Corporate Documentation (DSCCD).

FUL emphasised that only verified information should be trusted, urging the public to remain vigilant against fraud and misinformation.
