The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, attended an event commemorating World Hepatitis Day on July 29, 2024. The theme of this year’s observance was “It's Time for Action,” emphasizing the need for urgent health interventions. This action is a bid to raise awareness and promote health in the community.

The event, organized by the FULafia Community Service Committee in collaboration with the Nasarawa State Ministry of Health, featured several activities aimed at engaging the community. Attendees participated in a road walk from the university's Take-off Site to the Gandu area, fostering a spirit of community and health advocacy.
