FULAFIA NIMELSSA Praises VC Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman for Exceptional Leadership and Student Support

The Nigerian Medical Laboratory Science Students Association (NIMELSSA) at the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) has lauded the outstanding leadership of Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman. The commendation came during a courtesy visit led by NIMELSSA President Comrade Glorious Esla Emmanuel.

Emmanuel expressed the association's gratitude for Abdul Rahman's steadfast support of NIMELSSA, highlighting his dedication to student welfare. He praised the vice-chancellor's efforts in securing full accreditation for the Medical Laboratory Science Department from the National Universities Commission (NUC) and the provision of a bus for transporting medical students to Dalhatu Specialists Hospital (DASH) for their clinicals.

During the visit, Emmanuel also presented several requests from the association to the vice-chancellor. In response, Abdul Rahman thanked the students for their support and emphasized the importance of teamwork in achieving departmental success. He encouraged students to cultivate essential skills beyond their coursework, such as soft skills, communication, teamwork, and collaboration.

The vice-chancellor assured the association that he would address their requests, reinforcing his commitment to enhancing students' welfare at FULafia.
