According to a statement by the university's Registrar, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, Dr. Ufo Ejike Akunna has been appointed Acting Head of the Department of Radiography. Other appointments include:

The Vice-Chancellor of Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, has approved the appointment of new department heads and coordinators. The appointments, which are effective from September 5, 2024, will last for one year.

According to a statement by the university's Registrar, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, Dr. Ufo Ejike Akunna has been appointed Acting Head of the Department of Radiography. Other appointments include:

- Dr. James Lokoja A. as Acting Head, Department of Ophthalmology

- Dr. Agbo Paul as Acting Head, Department of Psychiatry

- Dr. Ahmed Muhammed Rabiu as Acting Head, Department of Human Physiology

- Ahmed Tijani Bako as Acting Head, Department of Anesthesia
