FUNAAB 30th Convocation Ceremony programme of events

This is to inform the general public that the FUNAAB Convocation Ceremonies Begins This Week Friday, August 4, 2023 With Jumat Service at the University Mosque, Myschoolnews report.

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), is set to kick-start the activities of the 30th Convocation Ceremonies with Jumat Service at the University Mosque on Friday 4th August, 2023 by 1 p.m.

Also on Sunday, August 6, 2023, the programme will continue with an Interdenominational Church Service at the University Chapel by 9:30 a.m.

A statement signed by the Registrar, Dr. ‘Bola Adekola further informed that the Convocation Press Conference will hold on Thursday, August 10, 2023, by 10 a.m. and would be followed by the commissioning of projects at various sites on Campus from 11 a.m.

The week - long event will reinforce with Convocation Ceremony and Award of First Degrees to deserving graduands of the University on Friday at Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building at 10 a.m.

The Convocation will peak with Convocation Lecture which will be delivered by former Minister for Education and former Vice-President of the World Bank (Africa Region) Dr. Oby Ezekwesili and Convocation Ceremony for the Award of Higher Degrees by 10 a.m at Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building.

Guests would be hosted to Convocation Luncheon at the International Scholars’ and Resource Centre (IS&RC), by 1 p.m after the Convocation Lecture.
