FUNAAB Announces 108th Inaugural Lecture

The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), will hold its 108th Inaugural Lecture on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Prof. Oluwafemi Balogun Ceremonial Building.
The event is slated to begin at 2:00 p.m., with guests expected to be seated by 1:30 p.m.
The lecture, titled “From Sample to Solution: Harnessing Statistics for Evidence-Based Public Decision-Making in the Data Age,” will be delivered by Prof. Olaniyi Mathew Olayiwola, Professor of Statistics in the Department of Statistics, College of Physical Sciences (COLPHYS).
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. Babatunde Kehinde, will serve as the Chief Host.
Members of the university community and the general public are invited to attend. The lecture will also be streamed live on YouTube via the University’s official platform at https://funaab.edu.ng/108th-inaugural-lecture/.
