Fountain University has recorded another remarkable academic feat as Dr. Mubarak Yusuff of the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies emerged with the second overall best result in the Global Imamship and Arabo-Islamic Immersion Examination.

The international examination, which attracts top scholars from across several countries, is renowned for its rigorous assessment of advanced competencies in Qur’anic scholarship, Arabic linguistics, Islamic jurisprudence, and contemporary leadership responsibilities for Imams. Dr. Yusuff’s outstanding performance places him among the world’s most promising emerging Islamic scholars.

As a direct result of this achievement, Dr. Yusuff has been selected for a fully funded advanced training programme in Morocco, scheduled for January next year. The programme is designed to deepen participants’ expertise in Imamship, interfaith engagement, and global Islamic leadership.
