FUT Babura Holds Matriculation Ceremony for 2024/2025 Academic Session

The Federal University of Technology, Babura, Jigawa State, held its third matriculation ceremony for the 2024/2025 academic session on April 29, 2025. The event welcomed newly admitted students to the university community.

In his address, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Sabo Ibrahim B/Kudu, congratulated the students and emphasized the importance of character and learning in the university's academic pursuits. He urged the students to participate in all academic activities, attend lectures, and uphold discipline and integrity.

The Vice-Chancellor expressed gratitude to the Federal Government, Jigawa State Government, Babura Local Government, and parents for choosing FUT Babura as a premier institution for their children. He highlighted the university's commitment to providing a conducive learning environment, maximum security, and social amenities.

A total of 972 students were admitted, with 166 in the School of Engineering and Technology and 806 in the School of Science. The students took the matriculation oath, pledging to observe the university's laws, statutes, and regulations.
