FUTA Announces Admission into Postgraduate Programmes for 2024/2025 Academic Session

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has officially opened applications for admission into its Postgraduate Diploma, Masters, M.Phil., M.Phil./Ph.D., and Ph.D. programmes for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Prospective candidates who meet the requisite qualifications are encouraged to apply through the School of Postgraduate Studies Portal on the university’s official website, http://www.futa.edu.ng. The portal provides comprehensive details including available programmes, admission requirements, duration of programmes, method of application, and opening and closing dates for application.
According to Mr. C. O. Adeleye, the Registrar of FUTA, application forms will be accessible starting from Monday, 15th July, 2024. Interested applicants are advised to visit the portal promptly to avoid any issues during the application process.
The university administration has outlined important guidelines for applicants to note:
- Candidates should ensure accuracy in their username and password to prevent additional charges.
- Errors in form completion or submission may result in the application being voided for the current academic session.
- Applicants cannot transfer unsuccessful applications from one programme to another.
- Only certificates from relevant examination bodies, not statements of results exceeding four years, will be accepted for admission purposes.
- 'O' Level results are no longer required for postgraduate admissions.
- Fees for application forms and acceptance are non-refundable.
