FUTA Professor Adedayo Fasakin Appointed to Advisory Committee of National Board for Technical Education
Professor Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, former Acting Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), has been appointed to the advisory committee of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in Kaduna.
Professor Emmanuel Adedayo Fasakin, former Acting Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA), has been appointed to the advisory committee of the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) in Kaduna, Kaduna State. The committee, comprising selected Chairmen from the Committee of Federal Rectors of Nigeria (COFER), aims to provide valuable guidance on the effective management of polytechnics in Nigeria.

The committee was recently inaugurated at the NBTE Liaison Office in Abuja. Professor Fasakin, the pioneer and immediate past Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Ile Oluji in Ondo State, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. His extensive background includes serving as Vice Chancellor and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) at FUTA, as well as numerous leadership positions in higher education.
Professor Adenike Oladiji, Vice Chancellor of FUTA, congratulated Fasakin on his appointment, highlighting his academic and administrative expertise. "Professor Fasakin's appointment is a testament to his exceptional leadership qualities in the tertiary education system. I am confident that he will excel in this role, continuing to make FUTA proud with his contributions," she remarked.
