FUTMinna Management Restructures School of Agriculture into Three Schools
The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMinna) management has announced the restructuring of the School of Agriculture into three separate schools.
This development is aimed at enhancing academic excellence and specialization in various fields of agriculture.
The three new schools are School of Agric Management and Technology, School of Agronomy and Forestry, and School of Food Science and Agricultural Technology.
School of Agric Management and Technology comprises the Departments of Agric Extension and Rural Development and Agric Economics and Farm Management.
School of Agronomy and Forestry consists of the Departments of Soil Science and Land Management, Crop Production, Horticulture, and Forestry.
School of Food Science and Agricultural Technology encompasses the Departments of Food Science and Technology, Water Resources, Aquaculture and Fisheries Technology, and Animal Production.
This restructuring is expected to promote greater efficiency, innovation, and academic excellence in the university's agricultural programs.
