FUTMINNA to Collaborate with Triple Helix Nigeria and Ox Founders UK on Innovation and Commercialization

The Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA), has expressed its readiness to partner with Triple Helix Nigeria (THN) and its UK-based partner, Ox Founders, on innovation and commercialization initiatives.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Faruk Adamu Kuta, highlighted the university's significant research potential and its commitment to transforming research projects into commercially viable products.

The partnership aims to strengthen collaboration among academia, industry, and government to build a resilient innovation ecosystem. THN's strategic initiative, the 10:10:10:10 Vision, targets 10 Nigerian universities, including FUTMINNA, acquiring at least 10% equity in 10 publicly listed companies within the next decade.

The university is committed to ensuring the success of the collaboration, with a focus on applying science and technology to address global challenges. FUTMINNA is currently establishing a Technology and Innovation Park to showcase research outputs and attract potential investors.
