Godfrey Okoye University Confirmed as Host for 2026 All Nigerian Youth Debate Championship

Godfrey Okoye University (GOUNI), Enugu State, has officially been announced as the Institutional Host Partner for the All Nigerian Youth Debate Championship (ANYDC) 2026, one of Nigeria’s largest and most prestigious debate tournaments.

Scheduled to take place from 27th to 31st March 2026, the championship will bring together undergraduates and graduates from across the country to engage in high-level intellectual discourse, critical debate, and idea exchange. The event will also feature the Nigerian Débatteur d’Or 2026, recognizing outstanding debaters and public speakers for their performances in 2025.

Hosting ANYDC 2026 highlights GOUNI’s growing prominence as a centre for academic excellence, leadership development, and youth intellectual engagement, further cementing its role in shaping Nigeria’s next generation of thinkers and leaders.

Enugu State is set to witness a convergence of the nation’s brightest minds as the conversation comes home to GOUNI.
