Gombe State University Releases Academic Calendar For 2023/2024

The Senate of Gombe State University has approved the academic calendar for the 2023/2024 session, which was released by the Registrar, Dr. Abubakar Aliyu Bafeto, on May 2, 2024.

According to the calendar, the first semester will begin on April 29, 2024, and end on September 7, 2024, while the second semester will start on November 30, 2024, and end on February 1, 2025.

Key dates include:

- Students' documentation and registration: April 29 - May 18, 2024

- Lectures: May 20 - June 15, 2024, and June 24 - August 17, 2024

- Examinations: August 19 - September 7, 2024, and December 2, 2024 - January 24, 2025

Additionally, the SBC meeting is scheduled for January 20, 2025, while the Senate meeting for consideration of second-semester results will take place on January 30, 2025. The end-of-session break is from February 1 to 2, 2025.

All public holidays will be observed as announced.
