Gombe State University Students Call for Urgent Action on Hostel Approvals

Ahmad Muhammad Saleh, a student at Gombe State University, has raised concerns about the lack of approved hostels, severely impacting students' academic performance and well-being.

Despite ongoing lectures, many students are missing classes due to unavailability of hostel accommodations, leading to academic struggles and financial burdens.

Corruption in hostel allocations has also been highlighted, with students forced to resort to bribery or leverage connections to secure accommodation. The university administration's inaction has allowed corruption to thrive, undermining fairness and equal opportunity.

Saleh, a Data Officer with the COPDEM G.S.U Chapter, has called for immediate action, recommending increased transparency, student engagement, and anti-corruption measures. He urged fellow students to share the message, advocating for a better university experience.
