Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria has provided key information about its Post-UTME examination, addressing common inquiries from prospective students.

1. Subject Combination: Candidates will answer questions from the same subjects they wrote during the UTME, with no inclusion of current affairs, unlike other universities.

   

2. Number of Questions: The exam consists of 70 questions in total. English has 25 questions, while the other subjects have 15 each.

3. Time Allowed: The allotted time for the exam is 2 hours, which is reported to be more than sufficient. Many candidates have noted having ample time to review their answers.

4. Past Questions: ABU conducts its exam via CBT and does not release past questions. Any packages claiming to offer ABU past questions are likely scams. Students are advised to study their textbooks and JAMB past questions instead.

5. Difficulty Level: The questions are similar to those in standard exams, and success depends on individual preparation. Each candidate receives unique questions.

6. Assessment: Like the UTME, ABU Post-UTME is graded on a scale of 400. Admission is based on the average score calculated as the sum of the UTME and Post-UTME scores divided by two. SSCE grades are not factored into the average, but candidates must have at least five credits relevant to their course.

7. Use of Calculators: Scientific calculators are not allowed during the exam.
