Kano State Polytechnic Releases Comprehensive 2025/2026 Registration Guidelines for Fresh Students
The Central Administration Management Information System (MIS) of Kano State Polytechnic has officially released the step-by-step registration procedure for newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The 11-step protocol is designed to streamline the transition for freshers across all schools and departments, ensuring all administrative and financial obligations are met before the commencement of lectures.
Phase 1: Admission Acceptance and Departmental Screening
New candidates are required to begin the process by logging into their institutional accounts to accept or reject their admission offer. Upon acceptance, a non-refundable Admission Acceptance Fee of ₦10,000.00 must be paid before the official admission letter can be printed.
Following this, students must:
Print their JAMB Admission Letter via the JAMB portal.
Present their letters at their respective departments for official screening, signing, and stamping.
Phase 2: Financial Obligations and Document Assessment
The second phase involves the payment of Union Dues (₦1,500.00) at a designated Micro Finance Bank. Subsequently, students are to report to the Students Affairs Officer at their respective schools for a formal assessment. Required documents for this stage include:
Screened Polytechnic and JAMB/NBTE admission letters.
Evidence of Union Dues payment.
Original academic credentials and recent passport photographs.
Phase 3: Portal Activation and Final Documentation
Once assessed, students must meet with MIS staff for account activation to gain access to the online registration portal. Through the portal, students are to complete the following:
Payment of Central and Departmental Registration Fees.
Printing of Receipts and Course Registration Forms (C.R.F.).
Printing of the Student Examination Card.
The final stages of the process involve Library Registration and Bursary Authentication at the Central Administration. To conclude the exercise, students must submit two copies of all credentials and passport photographs to their departments for permanent documentation.
Management urges all fresh students to follow the steps sequentially to avoid complications in their registration status.
