Governor Zulum Commends Vice Chancellors of Borno State University and University of Maiduguri

Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, has praised the Vice Chancellors of Borno State University (BOSU) and the University of Maiduguri for their effective leadership.

The commendation was made during a Sallah homage visit by the Vice Chancellors and their management teams to the Government House.

Governor Zulum assured the universities of his continued support to help them achieve their mission and vision. He also expressed his enthusiasm for the newly approved University of Agriculture and Entrepreneurship in Bama, bringing the total number of universities in Borno State to four.

However, the Governor expressed concern over the duplication of courses in the universities and urged them to meet with him to streamline these courses. He thanked the National Assembly and Senator Kaka Shehu Lawan for their roles in establishing the University of Agriculture and Entrepreneurship in Bama.

The Vice Chancellor of Borno State University, Professor Babagana Gutti, thanked Governor Zulum for his unwavering support and pledged to continue working towards the university's success. The visit concluded with prayers for peace and harmony in Borno State and the country.
