Great Ife Students’ Union Launches Official Website to Strengthen Communication and Engagement

The Great Ife Students’ Union has officially launched its website, www.greatifesu.com, a digital platform designed to strengthen communication, transparency and engagement between the Union, its members, alumni and the wider public.

The initiative, announced through the Office of the Secretary General, represents one of the defining achievements of the outgoing administration and marks a significant milestone in the history of the Union.

The new platform is designed to take the voice, activities and identity of Great Ife students to a global audience while providing students, alumni and other stakeholders with an accessible and reliable platform for staying connected with developments within the Great Ife community.

The website will serve as a central hub for Union announcements, news, events and resources, offering users around the world a convenient avenue to access information about the activities and affairs of the Union.

The development of the website was made possible through the support of Mr. Akeem Osungbade (Ak Wisdom), Chief Executive Officer of Oxgital.

A proud alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University and former Chairman of Angola Hall, Mr. Osungbade personally oversaw the development of the platform from conception to completion, bringing his technical and industry expertise to bear in ensuring that the website meets world-class standards.

His contribution was described as an example of what can be achieved when alumni and former Union officers maintain a responsible connection with their alma mater.

The Great Ife Students’ Union expressed its deep gratitude to Mr. Osungbade for his contribution to the development of the student community.

The outgoing Secretary General described the website as a legacy project for generations of Ife students as the administration draws its tenure to a close.

He encouraged the entire student community to embrace the platform, explore its features and make effective use of it, noting that the website represents the identity of Great Ife students on the global stage.

He added that the impact of the platform would depend largely on the level of collective engagement by members of the community.
