GSU Extends 2025/2026 Registration Fee Deadline, Introduces ₦5,000 Late Penalty

The management of Gombe State University (GSU) has approved an extension of the deadline for the payment of registration fees for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to an official notice, the extension was granted following repeated appeals from students, parents, and guardians requesting additional time to complete their financial and academic registration obligations.

The new deadline has been fixed for Sunday, June 14, 2026.

However, the university stated that students who fail to meet the revised deadline will be required to pay a late registration penalty of ₦5,000.

The institution urged all affected students to take advantage of the extended window to complete their registration without further delay, stressing that no additional extension will be granted beyond the stipulated date.

Management emphasized that the decision is final, aimed at ensuring smooth academic planning and timely conclusion of registration processes for the session.
