The Students' Union Government (SUG) of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai, recently organized a Students' Entrepreneurship Empowerment Day to equip students with vital entrepreneurial skills.

The initiative aligns with the University's Entrepreneurship Innovation and Development Programme, emphasizing business ownership as a pathway to self-reliance.

The program provided students with practical knowledge and opportunities to transform their ideas into tangible ventures.

Professor Musa Salihu Ewugi commended the SUG for organizing the entrepreneurship empowerment program, describing it as a timely intervention in preparing students for life beyond the classroom.

Alhaji Salihu Isa Kantigi, MD/CEO of Softech and an alumnus of the University, shared his personal journey as an entrepreneur, advising students to position themselves as problem solvers, develop strong communication skills, and remain consistent in pursuing their goals.

The Students' Entrepreneurship Empowerment Day reinforced the University's commitment to producing graduates who are not only employable but also capable of creating jobs.
