Igbinedion University, Okada (IUO) has officially announced its 23rd Convocation Ceremony, set to celebrate the academic achievements and bright futures of its graduating students. The two-day event promises a mix of thought leadership and formal conferment of degrees.

The convocation activities will commence on Friday, 28th November 2025, with the Convocation Lecture delivered by Hon. Dr. Yusuf Tanko Sununu, Minister of State for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction. Dr. Sununu will address the theme: “The Nexus between Education and National Prosperity in a Transformative Economy.”

On Saturday, 29th November 2025, IUO will confer First Degrees, Higher Degrees, and special awards on its graduates. The ceremony will be graced by Brigadier General Olakunle Oluseye Nafiu, Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
