Jigawa House of Assembly Lauds SLUK’s Leadership and Pledges Continued Support

The Management of Sule Lamido University Kafin Hausa (SLUK) has been commended for its accountability in leadership and prudent management of university resources. The commendation came from Honourable Muhammad Abubakar Sa’id, Chairman of the House Committee on Education, during an oversight visit to the university on Monday, November 18, 2024.
Honourable Abubakar, who represents Suletankarkar in the Jigawa State House of Assembly, explained that the visit was part of the committee's responsibility to assess the university's progress, focusing on budgetary provisions, financial records, and the status of ongoing projects.
After reviewing the university's financial records and inspecting various construction sites, Honourable Abubakar expressed satisfaction with the university's practical approach to resource management. He pledged the House's full support in advancing the institution’s development.
In response, Vice-Chancellor Professor Muhammad Ibrahim Yakasai, fcasson, mnae, expressed gratitude for the visit and reiterated the university’s commitment to academic excellence and continuous improvement.
