The Management of Kaduna State University (KASU) has announced with deep sorrow the passing of Mr. Yohanna Irimiya, a retired staff member of the University’s Bursary Department.

Affectionately known across the university community as "Uncle," Mr. Irimiya was a well-respected figure recognized for his long-standing service and professional integrity.

During his tenure at the KASU Bursary Department, Mr. Irimiya was known for his:

The University community extends its heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and former colleagues of the deceased. In an official notice, the institution prayed for the repose of his gentle soul. 

The university management has indicated that further details regarding the burial arrangements will be communicated to the public as soon as they are finalized by the family.
