Kashim Ibrahim University Welcomes New Students at 7th Orientation Ceremony

Kashim Ibrahim University (KIU) officially commenced its 2025/2026 academic session with its Seventh Orientation Ceremony, held at the university premises to integrate newly admitted students into the campus community.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Babagana Gutti, formally declared the event open, urging the freshers to prioritize discipline and strict adherence to institutional regulations. He reminded the students that while their academic journey varies in duration—spanning four to six years depending on their programmes—the foundation for their success starts with the orientation.

"This is an annual tradition that precedes your formal matriculation," Professor Gutti stated. "It is designed to guide your trajectory here, and I encourage you to internalize every presentation delivered today."
