KHAIRUN Elevates Administrative Standards with Digital Record Management Workshop

Khalifa Isyaku Rabiu University, Kano (KHAIRUN), on Tuesday, 20th January, 2026, successfully held a Workshop on Digital Record Management at the university.

The workshop, which was organised to enhance efficiency, accountability, and best practices in records handling, brought together selected members of staff across various units of the university. The workshop also recorded the participation of the university’s Principal Officers, underscoring management’s commitment to strengthening institutional capacity through continuous staff development.

Declaring the workshop open, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdulrashid Garba, expressed profound appreciation to the organisers for initiating the training. He described the programme as timely and strategic, noting that effective digital record management is critical to modern university administration. The Vice-Chancellor emphasized that proper documentation and digitisation of records would significantly improve service delivery, transparency, and decision making processes within the university. He further encouraged participants to take full advantage of the training and apply the knowledge gained in their respective duties for the overall advancement of KHAIRUN.
