LASU Announces Postgraduate Diploma Programme in Hospital Administration and Management for 2025/2026 Session

Lagos State University (LASU), in collaboration with LASU Consult Limited and the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, has announced the commencement of the Postgraduate Diploma Programme in Hospital Administration and Management for the 2025/2026 Academic Session.

The programme, as stated in the announcement signed by Emmanuel A. Fanu, Registrar and Secretary to Council, aims to provide qualitative and multidisciplinary education to prepare individuals for effective management roles in both private and public healthcare sectors.

According to the institution, the Postgraduate Diploma in Hospital Administration and Management is open to candidates with:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, Medicine, Nursing, Public Health, Pharmacy, Humanities, or Social Sciences from a recognised institution, with five (5) O’ Level credits including English Language and Mathematics.
• A Higher National Diploma (HND) in Social Sciences, Sciences, or Management Sciences from recognised institutions, also with five (5) O’ Level credits including English and Mathematics.
• Mature candidates with relevant work experience and at least three (3) O’ Level credits may also be considered.

The duration of the programme is one academic year, with an application fee of ₦10,000.

Interested applicants are to obtain forms from the Workforce Planning and Recruitment Unit, MRC Building, LASUTH, and submit completed forms alongside photocopies of credentials, curriculum vitae (CV), two recent passport photographs on a white background, and other relevant documents.

A Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be conducted at LASUTH for screening, after which successful candidates will be invited for an oral interview and verification of original documents.

The application window runs from November 4 to December 18, 2025, while the university cautioned that payments should only be made through the officially approved channels as outlined in the application procedure.
