Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila (AUSU), Kano State, has announced the approval of twenty-two (22) new undergraduate programmes by the National Universities Commission (NUC) for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a release issued by the Office of the Registrar (Admission Office) on November 5, 2025, the newly approved courses cut across multiple faculties, including Arts, Social and Management Sciences; Basic Medical Sciences; Clinical Sciences; Engineering and Environmental Sciences; Health Sciences; Law; and Science and Computing.
The University stated that candidates who have participated in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and possess the required subject combinations may apply for admission or change their institution of choice to Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila, via the JAMB portal.
