LASU Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olatunji-Bello, Inaugurated Into NgREN/TERAS Governing Board

The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, has been formally inaugurated into the Governing Board of the Nigerian Research and Education Network (NgREN)/Tertiary Education Research Applications and Services (TERAS) Integration.

The Vice-Chancellor of Lagos State University, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, has been formally inaugurated into the Governing Board of the Nigerian Research and Education Network (NgREN)/Tertiary Education Research Applications and Services (TERAS) Integration.

The inauguration was held today, Friday, 28th November 2025, at the UBEC Digital Resource Centre, Abuja, during the Mid-term Co-Creation Workshop jointly organised by the Federal Ministry of Education and the Federal Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy.

The reconstituted NgREN/TERAS Board was inaugurated by the Honourable Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Olatunji Alausa, and the Honourable Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani. The Board is tasked with driving Nigeria’s strategic agenda in research connectivity, fostering stronger research collaboration, and enhancing digital capacity across tertiary education and research institutions.
