LASUED Champions Environmental Sustainability at 24th Chief S. L. Edu Memorial Lecture

On Friday, 30th January 2026, the Lagos State University of Education (LASUED) made a strong academic presence at the 24th Chief S. L. Edu Memorial Lecture, with representation by Dr. Sakibu Olajide Saibu, Mr. Solomon Oyeboade Adegorite and Students of the Department of Natural Science Education, College of Science Education (COSED).

 The event themed “To Have and To Hold: Faith and Care of the Environment”, was held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help hall, Victoria Island drew attention to the urgent need for environmental responsibility anchored on values, ethics, and collective action. The discourse resonated strongly with LASUED’s mission of advancing sustainability, environmental literacy, and socially responsive education.
