LAUTECH Muslim Community Hosts 1447 A.H. Ramadan Lecture on Poverty Eradication
The 1447 A.H. Ramadan Lecture of the LAUTECH Muslim Community, titled: Poverty Eradication: an Islamic Perspective, delivered by Professor Abdul-Hafiz Oladosu, of the Department of Arabic and Islamic Studies at the University of Ibadan, held earlier today, at the Main Campus of LAUTECH.
Dignitaries at the function included Deputy Vice Chancellor (Strategy and Development) at LAUTECH, Professor Adepoju Tunde Joseph Ogunkunle, who represented the Vice Chancellor, Professor Razaq Olatunde Rom Kalilu, Chairman of the LAUTECH Muslim Community, Professor Abdul Rahman Onaolapo
Other dignitaries at the event were: leader of the NanoTech Research Group; Professor Agbaje Lateef and other members of his group. Coordinator of the Cement and Concrete Research Group; Professor Akeem Ayinde Raheem, Dean, Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences; Dr Saka Waidi
Others were: Former Rector of the Polytechnic and Chairman of the Governing Council of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa; Professor Kazim Adebiyi and Professor Taofik Adedosun among many others.
Members of the Ogbomoso League of Imams and Alfas were led to the lecture by their Chairman.
