Lead City University has proudly clinched third place at the prestigious Jaw War 2025, competing against top Nigerian institutions including the University of Ibadan (UI), Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), and Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU).

The Lead City University Intellectual Debate Society (LCUIDS) represented the institution with the theme, “Africa in the 21st Century and Beyond: Rethinking Power, Progress and Possibilities.” LIDS President, Adeniyi Abraham, delivered a standout performance characterized by insight, eloquence, and analytical rigor, earning the team national recognition.
