MAAUN President Prof. Gwarzo Commiserates with FUDMA over Registrar’s Death

Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN) has extended its condolences to the Vice Chancellor, Management and entirely staff and students of Federal University Dutsin-ma, Katsina State over the passing of the university’s Registrar, Malam Iliyasu Falalu Rafindadi.

Malam Iliyasu Falalu died in the early hours of today (Tuesday) at the Federal University Teaching Hospital, Katsina.

 

The condolence message was personally signed by the Founder and President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo and issued to newsmen in Kano on Tuesday.

Prof. Gwarzo, who expressed deep shock over the sudden death of Malam Iliyasu Falalu Rafindadi, said the deceased would be greatly missed for his tremendous contribution to the development of the university.

“On behalf of MAAUN Group of universities and Management, I wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to the VC, Prof. Armiya’u Hamisu Bichi, Management staff and students of the university over this great loss,” Prof. Gwarzo said.

He also extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of late Malam Iliyasu Falalu Rafindadi whom he described as a gentleman par excellence.

He prayed to Almighty Allah to admit the deceased in the highest level of Jannah and give his family the courage to bear the loss

 

The funeral prayer for the deceased was conducted around 2:30pm at his personal residence in Rafindadi quarters in the Katsina metropolis.
