According to the University, applications are open for the following positions:
Academic Staff
• Librarian I (MUTSSS 3)
Candidates must possess:
- SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O'Level with credits in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate or evidence of exemption.
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.).
- Call to the Nigerian Bar (B.L.).
- Master's degree in Library Science or Library and Information Science (M.LS./M.LIS.).
- ICT literacy with knowledge of library software applications and databases.
- Professional certification will be an added advantage.
Non-Teaching Staff
• Deputy Bursar II (MUNTSSS 14)
Candidates must possess:
- First degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate or evidence of exemption.
- SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O'Level with credits in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Registration with ICAN, ANAN, ACCA or any equivalent professional accounting body.
- Minimum of 17 years post-NYSC accounting experience.
- At least five years' experience as a Chief Accountant.
- Sound knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, payroll administration and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.

• Chief Accountant (MUNTSSS 13)
Candidates must possess:
- First degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate or evidence of exemption.
- SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O'Level with credits in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Registration with ICAN, ANAN or any equivalent professional body.
- Minimum of 14 years post-NYSC accounting experience.
- At least three years' experience as a Principal Accountant.
- Sound knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, payroll administration and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in modern accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Medical Officer II (MUNTSSS 10)
Candidates must possess:
- MBBS or equivalent qualification.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate or evidence of exemption.
- SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O'Level with credits in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
• Pharmacist I (MUNTSSS 08)
Candidates must possess:
- B.Sc. or B.Pharm from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate or evidence of exemption.
- SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O'Level with credits in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Registration with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria.
• Nursing Officer I (MUNTSSS 08)
Candidates must possess:
- NRN and NRM certificates.
- SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O'Level with credits in five subjects, including Mathematics, Biology and English Language.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Minimum of seven years post-qualification experience.
• Senior Nursing Officer (MUNTSSS 09)
Candidates must possess:
- NRN and NRM certificates.
- SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O'Level with credits in five subjects, including Mathematics, Biology and English Language.
- Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
- Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience.
• Engineer II (Civil) (MUNTSSS 07)
Candidates must possess:
- B.Sc. in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution with a minimum of Second Class Lower Division.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate or evidence of exemption.
- SSCE/NECO/WASC/GCE O'Level with credits in five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Eligibility for registration with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).

The University stated that conditions of service are governed by the McPherson University Regulations on Conditions of Service for employees on MUTSSS 01/MUNTSSS 07 and above, as well as its operational Scheme of Service.
