McPherson University Appoints Dr. Adeduro Oladapo Olalekan as Acting Director, ICT–RMU

The Management of McPherson University, Seriki Sotayo, Ogun State, has approved the appointment of Dr. Adeduro Oladapo Olalekan as the Acting Director, ICT–RMU.

Dr. Adeduro holds a B.Tech. in Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (2006), an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Lagos (2015), and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Babcock University (2023).

Before his new appointment, he served as the Acting Head of the Department of Cyber Security at McPherson University. He is widely regarded as a dedicated researcher and a seasoned cybersecurity professional with a strong footprint across academia and industry.

Dr. Adeduro has also attained multiple professional certifications in core areas of technology and cybersecurity, including Ethical Hacking; Fundamentals of Encryption and Quantum-Safe Techniques; Serverless Computing Using Cloud Functions; Data Privacy Fundamentals; Data Visualization with Python; Data Visualization; Building Cloud-Native and Multi-Cloud Applications; and End-to-End Security for Cloud Applications.

He holds active memberships in several notable professional bodies, including the International Information Systems Auditing and Control Association (ISACA) since 2012, the Nigerian Computer Society (NCS) since 2019, the Academia in Information Technology Profession (AITP) since 2019, and the Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria), CPN.

The University community has congratulated Dr. Adeduro on his appointment, expressing confidence that his leadership and technical expertise will further enhance the institution’s ICT framework.
