McPherson University PhD Student Donates Projectors to Boost Learning at College of Computing
McPherson University’s College of Computing (COLCOM) has received two multimedia projectors donated by a PhD student in Computer Science, Mr. Adesakin Adebayo, as part of his personal effort to enhance teaching and learning within the College.
McPherson University’s College of Computing (COLCOM) has received two multimedia projectors donated by a PhD student in Computer Science, Mr. Adesakin Adebayo, as part of his personal effort to enhance teaching and learning within the College.
Presenting the donation, Mr. Adebayo said the gesture was his contribution toward supporting the continuous growth and academic excellence of the institution, particularly in promoting effective classroom engagement through technology.
In his remarks, the Acting Dean of COLCOM, Dr. Ibam Emmanuel Onwuka, expressed appreciation to the donor, describing the gesture as “heart-warming and deeply commendable.” He noted that the projectors would greatly improve lecture delivery and students’ learning experiences across the College.

Dr. Ibam further recalled that during the previous academic session, Mr. Adebayo donated 50 copies of a C-Programming Language textbook, which are currently in use by students in the College.
He added that such repeated acts of generosity reflect the strong relationship between COLCOM students and staff, emphasizing that the College remains committed to fostering an engaging, innovative, and impactful learning environment in line with the University’s vision for academic excellence.
