Meet COOU's Best Graduating Student: Ozoh Wendy Achieves 4.93 CGPA
Ozoh Wendy has been named the Best Graduating Student of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) for the 2024 academic year, achieving a remarkable 4.93 CGPA with a first-class degree in Microbiology. During the convocation ceremony at the Uli campus, she credited her success to hard work, determination, and support from her family and lecturers.
Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU) celebrated Ozoh Wendy as the Best Graduating Student for the 2024 academic year during its recent convocation ceremony held at the Uli campus. Wendy achieved an impressive 4.93 CGPA, graduating with a first-class degree in Microbiology.
In her valedictory speech, Wendy expressed her gratitude for the support she received throughout her academic journey, saying, “It wasn’t easy but God stood by me and made this possible.” She emphasized the roles of hard work, determination, and the encouragement of her family and lecturers in her success.
Professor Kate Azuka Omenugha, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of COOU, commended Wendy’s outstanding achievements, calling her a role model for future students. Wendy's accomplishments earned her multiple awards, including a cash prize, scholarship opportunities for further studies, and special commendation from the university.
Wendy took to social media to celebrate her milestone, stating, “With a CGPA of 4.93, I emerged as the Best Graduating Student (BGS) of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Anambra State.” Her heartfelt message highlighted her belief in the power of perseverance and faith.
