Mohamet Lawan College of Agriculture, Maiduguri Announces Significant Leadership Transition

Mohamet Lawan College of Agriculture (MOLCA) has announced a significant leadership transition, effective August 6, 2024. Dr. Abba Makinta has been appointed as the new substantive Provost, while Babakura Mohammed Adam takes on the role of substantive Registrar.

The outgoing Acting Provost, Mala Alhaji Musa, and Acting Registrar, Dr. Abba Galtimari, are commended for their dedication and commitment to the college. Their contributions have been invaluable to the institution.

Dr. Abba Makinta, the new Provost, outlined his vision for the college, which includes enhancing its agricultural identity, capacity strengthening for staff, and improving internally generated revenue. He expressed his gratitude to the Governor of Borno State, Prof. Babagana Umar Zulum MNI, for his support.
