NAHCO Chairman Donates Multi-Million Naira Library to Joseph Ayo Babalola University

Dr. Seinde Oladapo Fadeni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO), has donated a multi-million naira library block to Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) in Ikeji-Arakeji, Osun State. The three-storey structure, the largest on campus, will serve the library needs of all departments within the university.

During the hand-over ceremony, Fadeni emphasized the importance of supporting students in their educational pursuits amidst modern distractions. He pledged to ensure the library is equipped with modern facilities, including computers and shelves, to cater to students from undergraduate to doctorate levels.

The Vice Chancellor of JABU, Prof. Olasebikan Alade Fakolujo, praised Fadeni's generosity, noting that the new library is comparable to those in Nigeria's first-generation universities and addresses a critical challenge of inadequate modern library facilities in the country. Fakolujo highlighted that this donation contributes significantly to the advancement of Nigeria’s university education system and nation-building efforts.
