NAKOSS to Welcome Newly Admitted Kogi Indigenes at UDUS

The National Association of Kogi State Students (NAKOSS), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) chapter, has concluded plans to formally welcome newly admitted students of Kogi State origin into the institution.

The event is scheduled to hold on February 15, 2026, at A134 Class from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

According to the association, the programme is designed to properly orient fresh students on academic life and campus activities within the university community. It is also aimed at providing guidance that will help them navigate their new environment successfully.

Speaking with VANGUARD, the association’s Secretary, Emmanuel Comfort Ovayoza, encouraged all newly admitted indigenes to attend the programme and take advantage of the opportunities it presents.

She noted that the event promises to be educative, interactive and impactful, adding that participants will benefit from academic guidance, mentorship and an interactive question-and-answer session.
