NAKSS-UDUS Senate Council Announces Call for Magazine Submissions

The Senate Council under the National Association of Kwara State Students (NAKSS), Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS) chapter, has announced a call for paper submissions for its upcoming magazine. This initiative invites Kwarans to showcase their expertise in writing.

According to the official flier, the submissions can include articles or poetry and must be submitted by the deadline of September 10, 2024. The guidelines specify a maximum word count of 500 words, font size 12, Times New Roman font style, and must include the author’s contact information.

In an interview, Abdulkareem Mubarak, a 500-level law student and the Senate President of NAKSS-UDUS, explained that the call for submissions is limited to Kwarans to ensure the magazine authentically reflects the cultures and traditional heritage of Kwara State.

"The call for submissions invites people to submit articles, poetry, or poems to be published in a magazine by the Senate Council of NAKSS-UDUS," Mubarak stated. He further emphasized that the magazine aims to present Kwara State's rich cultural heritage to a broad audience, with a particular focus on highlighting the talents of its indigenous people.
